Sign Fabrication & Installation

As a Sheet Metal Sign fabricator you will be building and installing signs. These signs have an endless possibility of size and shapes and can be located in many locations. This field allows an individual to express themselves in an artistic manner for all to see. 99% of signs in New York's Time Square are made and installed by Sheet Metal Sign fabricators trained in apprenticeship programs supported by the International Training Institute (ITI).

In the Sheet Metal sign apprenticeship programs you will master the following:

• Welding
• Lay out techniques (Drawing)
• Advanced Sheet Metal forming skills
• Bending
• Rolling
• Beading
• Seams
• Hoisting and rigging skills (using Cranes for lifting)
• Safety
